About the Foundation
The Neuro-Efficiency Foundation, or N-EFF, is a Montreal-based organization that works to preserve the autonomy and recovery potential of people living with a neurological condition. Its approach is based on specialized rehabilitation in a community setting, designed to extend the continuum of care beyond hospital discharge.
In concrete terms, the foundation works to ensure that access to rehabilitation, accessibility solutions, and family support never depends on financial means. Its mission stems from a simple observation: too many people leave the hospital with real potential for improvement, but without rapid access to the support they need to continue their recovery.
A story at the origin
of the mission
The foundation was created by Eric Boyer following his own rehabilitation journey. After a serious skiing accident on January 3, 2019, he personally experienced the impact that intensive neurological rehabilitation can have on a life trajectory. This experience revealed the gaps that many individuals and families face after leaving the hospital and led to the creation of N-EFF.
The tournament
Each year, the Neuro-Efficiency Foundation golf tournament brings together a community mobilized around a common goal: expanding access to specialized neurological rehabilitation.
